Student Experience

I'm Aaron Wynne I'm studying Sociology and Social Policy. I'm in my second year.

I choose Îá°®³Ô¹Ï as I wanted to study in Wales.

I think the modules are tailored to the world of work in North Wales. Hopefully it puts me in good stead when I go and apply for jobs after I graduate.

What I enjoy most about the subject is the wide range of modules and the lecturers. I'm really lucky with the course I've selected.

I can choose different modules with different lecturers, and I've enjoyed all of them so far.

My favourite thing about Bangor is that there's a close knit community here in the city.

The Welsh language is a thriving language here at Bangor, as someone who's first language, Welsh, that's really important to me.

My advice to new students would be if you're ever lost, just look up. The Main Building is the centrepiece of the city. So you're never too far. So if you're ever lost, just look up the uni building.

There are so many support services available to help us studentsÌýas and when we need it. That's on top of the excellent support we receive from our lecturers and personal tutors.
