Dynamic - analytical - transformative

The most interesting aspect of Investment and Portfolio Management is understanding how risk and return interact to drive investment decisions, from valuing assets like equities and bonds to crafting diversified portfolios that align with investor objectives.

My favourite part about teaching at Îá°®³Ô¹Ï is its inclusive and supportive environment. Bangor fosters a diverse learning community where students from all backgrounds feel valued and encouraged to thrive.

Finance captivated me because of its powerful impact on individuals, businesses, and economies. The idea that well-informed financial decisions could create wealth, spur innovation, and drive economic stability intrigued me. I was particularly drawn to the dynamic nature of investment and portfolio management, where the blend of quantitative analysis and human psychology creates a fascinating challenge.

Make the most of Bangor’s inclusive and resource-rich environment by actively engaging in opportunities beyond the classroom, for instance joining societies, participating in workshops, and connecting with peers from diverse backgrounds.
